Wiggly Pups private pet hotel brings the standard of luxury to an unprecedented level. Wiggly Pups offers pets a unique combination of luxury and style. Located in Gramercy Park, Wiggly Pups features:

• 24 hour care with experienced attendants.
• A separate play space for dogs under 20 lbs, with special accommodations for pups under 5 lbs.
• A large dog room for all pups over 20 lbs, surrounded by windows, that receives plenty of natural light.
• A dedicated outdoor space where pups can relieve themselves in a safe environment. The outdoor space mimics a New York City sidewalk, while providing a clean area away from the dangers of cars, skateboards and pedestrians.
• A designer cattery with sisal carpeting, cat furniture and custom-made cat condos, with built-in ventilation.
• A private suite for dogs or cats that require a little extra attention. The private suite features its own, separate, relief area.
• All daycare rooms have surround sound with music selected especially with your pet in mind. Each daycare room also has a plasma t.v. with Animal Planet or the National Geographic channel playing.
• Web cameras will be available in the near future.
• All daycare and boarding is 100% cageless.
• HEPA filtration systems in all play areas means a cleaner environment.
• Custom rubber floors are easier on the joints than concrete floors and great for a quick nap or rough play.

Membership:

Membership is not required to stay or play at Wiggly Pups. However, members receive discounted prices on all services and receive advanced invitations to all Wiggly Pups events. The discount is so great that the membership pays for itself after only 12 daycare visits! Concierge service is available to Wiggly Pups members only! You name it; we will do our best to make it happen! Only members will receive a special gift on your pup's birthday: via e-card, a gift certificate for a free pup-cake and a free pup-stop! Members also receive preferential booking during holidays and special "pawty" rates.

Daycare:

We believe that dogs, gregarious by nature, have excellent social skills and that the company of one another helps diminish the anxiety of being away from home. When dogs are together, they generally play and are more relaxed and bond on a level that can only be described in human terms as "friendship". For the dog owner that works long hours,  we offer "pup stops" and full daycare to suit flexible work schedules that benefit the owner and their pet.

At Wiggly Pups you dog will receive lots of human attention and plenty of canine companionship. Daycare will be available seven days a week.  Monday through Friday, dogs may play any time between 7am and 10pm. On Saturday and Sunday, dogs may play from 9am to 6pm. (Dogs remaining after hours will automatically be registered for an overnight stay).

We do not offer walks outdoors for dogs in daycare because of the highly trafficked areas surrounding Gramercy. Instead, our simulated daycare rooms will make your pet feel as though he/she is out in the open. We feel that it is much safer to have your dog in a controlled environment rather than outdoors. Our replicated rooms are designed to simulate a dog run environment and will not affect any house-breaking manners. Relief breaks are given every few hours in our enclosed courtyard. The courtyard simulates a New York City sidewalk and actually reinforces housebreaking. Large windows surround each daycare area, so your pet always feels as if she is playing outdoors!

Boarding:

DOGS: Beds are brought out each night and the lights are dimmed, transforming the room from an active play space into a dog den of peace and tranquility. Please note that all dog boarding is communal, unless the private suite is booked. Dogs are social beings and, as such, greatly benefit from the use of shared sleeping quarters. A slumber party is always tons of fun! (All boarding is charged for a 24-hour period. Daycare is included in the boarding price.)

CATS:

All triplex condos have a separate compartment that houses the litter pan, as well as a separate shelf for food and water. (Triplex condos can house up to three cats from the same family.) Cats have several hours of play time each day in the cattery with a staff member. The cattery has special cat furniture to climb and sisal carpeting to scratch. There are even windows in the cattery which allow your cat the opportunity to sunbathe!

(we apologize, but the cattery will not be open until winter 2010. However, the Royal suite is available for cats.)

PRIVATE SUITES:

Available for either cats or dogs. Private suites have all the comforts of a human hotel suite. Each suite is designed to be boutique chic, complete with pet themed artwork, a memory-foam bed and a pet drinking fountain. There is also a plasma t.v. (with your choice of channels such as Animal Planet or National Geographic) and a dvd player with a variety of movies that may interest your pet. There are windows in every suite, but only the Royal suite has access to the private outdoor patio. The Royal suite is also wired with Skype, so that you can call in and talk to your dog, from wherever you may be. The private suites provide 5-star luxury service for your V.I.P. (Very Important Pooch).

Dog Walkers and Pet Sitters

If your pet prefers the comfort of his own home, Wiggly Pups has a staff of reliable and caring dog walkers and pet sitters that will come to you. Our dog walkers are available for both 1/2 hour and hour long walks. Our pet sitters will stay with your pet overnight in your own home. All our dog walkers and pet sitters are licensed, bonded and insured. Please call for rates and to schedule a reservation.

Mobile Groomer

Wiggly Pups makes looking pretty a much more pleasant experience by sending our groomer to your home! In the comfort of his own home, a pet is more likely to relax and, therefore, be more open to the grooming experience. And Mommy and Daddy can get work done (or just relax yourself) while they know that their baby is safe in the next room. All our groomers are licensed, bonded and insured.

Pick Up and Drop Off Service

If you live a little too far to walk your dog over to Wiggly Pups, please call and ask about our pick up and drop off service. Your pup will be transported to our hotel in our vintage Rolls Royce. Transportation is available for an additional fee and, at this time, is available only in Manhattan.

Wiggly Pups is proud to be affiliated with Gotham Animal Clinic. Located right around the corner, on 19th Street and 2nd Avenue, Dr. Ted Weiner and his lovely wife Linda have been providing superior veterinary services in Gramercy Park for over 15 years. Relief Walk Policy

The streets of New York can be wild and dangerous. There are skateboards whizzing by, bicycles, strangers, and other, untrained, dogs. Wiggly Pups prefers to keep your pet safe by providing individual relief walks in our private outdoor dog run.  This is especially beneficial for puppies, older dogs and any dog with a disability. Relief breaks in our outdoor run are provided several times a day, but the number of relief breaks can be increased as per your instructions. Relief breaks are already included in the price of your pet's stay. If you prefer to have your dog walked outside, individual outdoor walks can be arranged for an additional fee.
